Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. First a hometown parade and then a commuity festival!

Celebrate Independence Day in Aldan!
The parade will begin at 11am on Monday July 4th, starting Providence Rd. & Woodlawn Ave. Afterwards, join us at the James R. Hopely, Jr. Athletic Complex for food, fun & prizes. This year's celebration promises to be an awesome one. Hope to see you there!
Parade formation: 10:45 AM at Aldan Municipal lot for small groups and individuals; Providence Park for bands and large groups. Both locations are at Providence Road and Clifton Avenue.
Parade step-off: 11:00 AM
Parade Route: East on Providence Road to Elm Avenue; South on Elm Avenue to Magnolia Avenue; West on Magnolia Avenue to Sycamore Avenue; North on Sycamore Avenue to Ballfields at James R Hopely Athletic Complex.
After Parade Activities: Flag raising by Aldan Boy Scout Troop 2; races for children organized by the Aldan Youth Club; baby parade, Ice cream and US flag distribution at the John P McBlain Community Center on Shisler Avenue (while supplies last).
